Hanoi (VNA) - A ceremony to mark the 75th anniversary of Belarus’sIndependence Day (July 3) and 100 years of founding celebration of the country’sdiplomatic sector was held in Hanoi on June 20.
Speaking at the event, Belarusian Ambassador to Vietnam Vladimir Goshinexpressed his pleasure at the sound development of traditional relationsbetween his country and Vietnam in recent times, stressing that 2019 marks manyimportant events in the bilateral relations.
The two sides are waiting for the operation of the first Vietnam-Belarus jointventure MAZ Asia on manufacturing and assembling trucks, and the establishmentof a joint venture on dairy production and processing in Hung Yen province.
Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Cuong affirmed that thetraditional relations between Vietnam and Belarus have been increasingly strengthened,especially through the exchange of delegations at all levels; economic, tradeand culture cooperation.
The two sides have signed many agreements, he said, expressing his belief that theVietnam-Belarus relationship will be stronger in the coming time.-VNA
