Ben Tre (VNA) – The Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre has handed over 100 houses ofgratitude to policy beneficiary families in eight districts.
The houses wereconstructed at a total cost of 7.5 billion VND (330,000 USD), of which 5billion VND (220,000 USD) came from the Lien Viet Post Joint Stock CommercialBank (LienVietPostBank).
Nguyen Huu Phuoc, ViceChairman of the Ben Tre province People’s Committee, said the houses aim to paytribute to the policy beneficiary families, helping them enjoy a happy LunarNew Year (Tet) holiday.

The Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre has replaced rice by coconut, fruit trees, vegetables and aquaculture in an area of 7,548 hectares under a project to restructure the local agriculture.
Construction of a wind power plant worth nearly 1.5 trillion VND (66 million USD) began in the southern province of Ben Tre’s Binh Dai district on November 28.
