The Bkav Corporation recently displayed its international-standardSmartHome solution and smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show "CES2015" in Las Vegas, Nevada, the United States.
Thecomplete smart home system helps users manage and control their housethrough a 3D interface built on a mobile device or through avoice-controlled virtual assistant. It will control the house's lightingand sound systems, air conditioning, curtains, as well as the TV,security cameras and raise a warning in case of a gas leak. It can alsoupdate changes to meet the new demands of users.
Vu Thanh Thang,Vice President of the Bkav Hardware Division, said Bkav SmartHome toppedthe world in technology. "We are boosting commercial activities tobring the product to the international markets so that made-in-Vietnamsmart home solutions not only lead in technology, but also becomesymbolic of the best brand and commerce," he said.
Theenterprise's product has been showcased at foreign exhibitions globally,such as the New York Build Expo in the United States and the CeBIT,an International Trade Fair for Information Technology in Germany.
Thang said exhibiting the Bkav SmartHome at CES 2015 is part of its plan to expand globally.
Bkav'sother product – it's first-ever smartphone – was also displayed at thebig event. A project to produce its own smartphones was initiated in2010. The five-inch smartphone uses microprocessors from chipmakerQualcomm and has been designed and developed by Bkav engineers. It runson the Android 5.0 operating system, which has been customised with thefirm's interface.
CES 2015, scheduled to be held from January 6to 9, features latest technology trends. Smart home solutions are one ofmost anticipated technology products at the event, which drawsparticipation from many large companies in the world.
