Bangkok (VNA) - Thousands of people have beenevacuated after an explosion near Thailand's international airport left onedead and another 29 injured, officials said.
The explosion occurred about 2.50am at the Ming DihChemical factory in Soi King Kaew 21 at Moo 15 village in tambon Rachathewa,according to Bangkok Post.
There are five or six warehouses in the factorycompound, where 50 tonnes of chemicals were reported to be stored.
Local disaster authorities said 70 houses weredamaged.
The cause of the blast had yet to be determined./.
