British University Vietnam’s new campus inaugurated in Hung Yen
A new campus of the British University Vietnam (BUV) was inaugurated in Ecopark urban residential area in the northern province of Hung Yen, about 10 km east of Hanoi, on September 15.

Hung Yen (VNA) – Anew campus of the British University Vietnam (BUV) was inaugurated in Ecoparkurban residential area in the northern province of Hung Yen, about 10 km eastof Hanoi's centre, on September 15.
The BUV Ecopark campus, spanning 6.5ha, had investment of 70 millionUSD.
With seamless integration between in-door & out-door architecture tobest for green living, the new campus is open and close to nature. Study roomsand library overlook endless expanses of green space with integratedstate-of-the-art audio-visual systems to assist various learning and teachingmethods.
Notably, the university zoned off an area of 1,000 square metres to itslibrary, which is home to many books in English language, along with a sportingand entertainment complex.
General Director of the BUV Prof. Raymond Gordon said the opening of the BUVEcopark campus reflects the university’s contributions and commitments toVietnam’s education. It is viewed as an important foundation for thedevelopment of the BUV and thousands of Vietnamese and regional students in thetime ahead, he added.
British University Vietnam is the first and only international university inVietnam to provide and award Bachelor's degrees directly from Britain.-VNA
British University Vietnam (BUV) will grant 100 scholarships, each worth 1,000 USD, to the first 100 students attending the school’s pre-university course.
