Soc Trang (VNA) – A Cambodian art performance w💖as held in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang oᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚn November 12 as part of the Cambodian Culture Week in Vietnam 2015.

Representatives from Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of the provincial People’ s Committee; and Secretary of State for the Cambodian Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts Menh Kossony attended the event.
Addressing the event, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lam Van Man highlighted the significant role of cultural exchange activities in strengthening the solidarity and traditional friendship between the two countries.
The event featured various traditional Cambodian arts, including the Chhay-dam drum, Ploy Suoy, Apsara dances and songs praising the love for country, people and the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia. The Cambodian Culture Week in Vietnam is taking place from November 8 to 14, aiming to introduce unique, traditional Cambodian arts in a view to strengthening the solidarity and traditional friendship between the two countries.-VNA
