Hanoi (VNA) – The Central Steering Committeefor Anti-Corruption will convene its 20th meeting on August 5 under the chair of Party General Secretary and Chairman of the committee Nguyen Phu Trong.
During the upcoming meeting, the committee will look into a draft report on the implementation of its working programme in the first half of this year, and tasks for the second half.
The committee will also mull over results of thesettlement of cases under its monitoring, and other documents regarding itsoperation./.
Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong presided over a meeting on March 18 of the Standing Board of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption, to look into the handling of a number of cases that are under the supervision of the committee since its 19th session.
Politburo member and Secretary of the Party Central Committee Phan Dinh Trac hailed Ho Chi Minh City’s efforts in settling corruption cases and their consequences while working with the permanent members of the municipal Party Committee on anti-corruption work on May 29.
