Communist parties of Vietnam, India strengthen traditional friendship

New Delhi (VNA) – The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) ꧙always attaches importance to the traditional friendship with communist and left-wing parties, including the Communist Party of India - Marxist (CPI-M), Vietnamese Ambassador to India Nguyen Thanh Hai said at a meeting on May 12 with CPI-M General Secretary M.A Baby.
At the meeting, Hai handed over a telegram of congratulations from General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee To Lam to M.A. Baby on the occasion of his election as General Secretary of the CPI-M at the party’s 24th congress in early April.
The ambassador emphasised the good tradition and developments in the relationship between the two Parties.
Hai informed the CPI-M leader about the strong development of Vietnam under the CPV’s leadership as well as the major orientations for national construction and development and Party building towards the 14th National Party Congress, such as the ongoing restructuring of the central and local apparatuses and the strategic resolutions of the CPV to develop the country in all fields.
The ambassador also proposed a number of measures to promote relations between the two Parties, such as increasing information sharing and delegation exchanges, especially high-level delegations, thereby contributing to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in the coming time.
For his part, the CPI-M leader expressed appreciation for Lam’s good wishes, and emphasised the close bond between the two Parties that has been tested through history.
He affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh has always been a great source of inspiration for generations of Indian people.
He also lauded Vietnam’s recent development achievements, and noted that promoting good relations with Vietnam has always been a consistent and consensus policy of political forces in India.
M.A Baby agreed with proposals to enhance cooperation between the two Parties, saying the Indian side will continue its coordination to implement measures to further enhance the ties./.
The airline said it is closely monitoring developments in the region and will provide updates should the Pakistan – India conflict affect its flight operations.
At the reception, Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Quang Ngoc, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, affirmed that Vietnam attaches great importance to the traditional friendship between two countries as well as the two armies, saying India has always been a close, reliable, and trusted partner of Vietnam.
At a working session with Indian Deputy Ambassador to Vietnam Tako Ajungla Jamir in Hanoi on April 18, Yen emphasised that the two nations have built a solid foundation of cooperation through years of active engagement in the sports sector, including the participation of national teams in various sporting events held in each country.
The trip will be made at the invitations of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF President and CEO Børge Brende, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Long spoke highly of the dynamic, positive, and comprehensive development of Vietnam – Russia relations in recent years. He affirmed that the Vietnamese Party and State place great importance on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia in a substantive and effective manner, in line with the development needs of both nations.
At the conference, participants reported that the Government has so far issued 28 decrees on the delegation of responsibilities and powers between the central Government and two-tier local administrations. Several localities have already piloted the new governance model.

Under the official dispatch signed on June 20, ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, and chairpersons of provincial and municipal People’s Committees are requested to concentrate efforts on implementing core measures to ensure the smooth operations of the new administrative framework.
The Party chief underscored the need for the press to innovate relentlessly, evolve to keep pace with the country's development, transform into a truly professional, humanistic, and modern sector that serves the cause of the Party, the State, and the people on the path to national construction and development.

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man stressed the need to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence and smart teaching equipment, innovate teaching and assessment methods, and further improve the quality of formal education.
