Attendees included Blanca Flor Bonilla, Deputy Head of the External Affairs Commission of the ruling Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMNL) party, MP Manuel Flores, and Cuba’s ambassador to El Salvador Pedro Pablo Prada Quintero.
Salvadoran speakers like Dr. Angel Ibarra, MP Manuel Flores, economist Beat Smith presented reports on Vietnam, focusing on analysing history, politics, and society and the country’s various achievements in the reform process.
According to Salvador Orellanaಌ, Coordinator of the Vietnam-El Salvador Parliamentary Friendship Group and a member of the FMNL, El Salvador will hold similar events on Vietnam in the provinces of San Vicen𒅌te, Morazan and Chalatenango.-VNA
General Secretary of El Salvador’s Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN) Medardo Gonzalez expressed his interest in enhancing the friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between the people of El Salvador and Vietnam through delegation and people-to-people exchanges.
