The message said the CPP has led the Cambodianpeople through numerous difficulties and challenges to victory in the strugglefor national independence, saving the nation from the genocidal disaster, and revivingthe country.
The party has also successfully implemented thepolicy of peace and national concord, while maintaining its crucial role innational building and development, the message read.
“The CPV and the Vietnamese people warmly congratulatethe CPP and Cambodian people on their significant achievements, and the successof the CPP in the recent commune election,” the CPV Central Committee said,expressing the firm belief that under the leadership of the CPP, the Cambodianpeople will maintain peace and stability, and gain new and even biggerachievements in the cause of national building and development.
“The CPV and the Vietnamese people are delightedat the fruitful development of the traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperationbetween the two nations for the interests of the people of each nation, and forpeace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world,” themessage said.
The same day, Hoang Binh Quan, Head of the CPV CentralCommittee’s Commission for External Relations sent his congratulations to his CPPcounterpart Yos Son on the occasion.-VNA
