Czech President expects fruitful outcomes in Vietnam visit
Czech President Milos Zeman expected that his upcoming visit to Vietnam in early June will produce fruitful outcomes, with economic cooperation high on the agenda of bilateral discussions.

Prague (VNA) – President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman expected that hisupcoming visit to Vietnam in early June will produce fruitful outcomes, witheconomic cooperation, especially tourism development, high on the agenda ofbilateral discussions.
PresidentZeman made the remarks while receiving Vietnamese Ambassador to the CzechRepublic Ho Minh Tuan in Prague on May 23, who came to present his credentials.
He laudedthe smooth development of the traditional friendship and multifacetedcooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic in the recent past,expressing his wish to further enhance bilateral ties in the coming time.
ThePresident also voiced his hope that the ambassador would help usher in a newchapter in relations between the two nations.
For hispart, Tuan conveyed Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang’s greetings to PresidentZeman and thanked the Czech government and people for their valuable supportand assistance to Vietnam.
He alsothanked the Czech Republic for recognising the Vietnamese-Czech community asthe country’s 14th ethnic minority group, expecting that the Czechgovernment will provide necessary conditions for them to integrate well intolocal society.
