Da Nang to build technology incubator

Da Nang city has asked for assistance from the Government to build a technology incubator.
Da Nang city has asked for assistance from the Government to build a technology incubator with the goal of turning the city into a scientific-technical and technological hub of the central and Central Highlands region. Da Nang officials made the request at a meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology led by Minister Nguyen Quan on August 18. The central city also proposed that the ministry provide financial help to the building of a scientific-technological information centre for the central region and a national technology trading floor.
Minister Nguyen Quan spoke highly of Da Nang’s achievements in science and technology and promised to give support to the city regarding the proposed projects.
He also said the ministry will help Da Nang with the building of a regional-level radiation observation and warning station as well as with the transfer and application of science and technology advancement in rural and mountainous areas. The minister recommended the city continue allocating money to science and technology projects and quality staff training to make Da Nang the science and technology centre of the Central and Central Highlands region.-VNA
