In a statement later, the Malaysian Ministry of Defence saidthe two ministers also discussed regional and international security challenges ofmutual interest. The two sides shared their experiences on preventive and control measuresimplemented in their respective countries in dealing with the COVID-19situation.
The statement said both ministers agreed that it is imperative for everycountry to continue to work together in the face of the COVID-19 outbreak. ꧙ In thestatement, Minister Ismail Sabri also thanked the Chinese Ministry of Defencefor donating medical supplies./.
