Kuala Lumpur (VNA) –💧 Malaysia’sMinister of Defence Ismail Sabri Yaakob and his Chinese counterpart Wei Fengheagreed to further enhance existing defence cooperationbetween the two countries during their talk on the phone on May 15.

In a statement later, the Malaysian Ministry of Defence saidthe two ministers also discussed regional and international security challenges ofmutual interest. The two sides shared their experiences on preventive and control measuresimplemented in their respective countries in dealing with the COVID-19situation.

The statement said both ministers agreed that it is imperative for everycountry to continue to work together in the face of the COVID-19 outbreak.
