Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam iswilling to share experience in national construction and development with Cubato help the country realise its reform targets in an efficient and prompt manner,Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has said.
He made the remark at a reception forvisiting Cuban Minister of Labour and Social Security Margarita M. GonzalezFernandez in Hanoi on September 13.
At the meeting, the official affirmed thatthe special Vietnam-Cuba friendship has been strengthened over the time.
He voiced his hope that with a newconstitution, Cuba would soon fulfil its goals on the path to socialism, attractforeign investment and restructure of the country’s economy.
Dam requested both sides to enhance cooperationand experience sharing to perfect policies and build models of social securityin accordance with sustainable development.
He also asked the Cuban Ministry to createoptimal conditions for Vietnamese firms operating in Cuba.
For her part, Minister Margarita M.Gonzalez Fernandez informed her host that she and her entourage attended asession of the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee, and held a workingsession with leaders of Vietnam’s Ministry of Labour, Invalids and SocialAffairs.
The two sides exchanged views on humanresources development, workers’ rights and benefits in medical services,education, social welfare and poverty reduction, she said.
Cuba hopes to cooperate and exchangeexperience with Vietnam in the fields of labour, employment, salary policy,support for welfare beneficiaries, and the sending of guest workers to othercountries, she added./.
