Hanoi (VNA) – The Deutschland-Fest 2018: German experiences inHanoi will take place at the area of Ly Thai To Statue, Hoan Kiem district,Hanoi on November 2-3, said German Ambassador to Vietnam Christian Berger at apress conference on October 30.
The fest is introduced by German agencies, organisations and companies underthe sponsoring of the German Embassy in Vietnam and the Goethe Institute.
The festival will feature a wide range of activities, including a look into theBundesliga championship, a beer fest entitled “Brothers Grimmm Bia”, a fashionshow by Van Laack Company, and activities for children and teenagers.
Photos of the Buddy Bears project and diplomatic relations between Vietnam andGermany will be on display, together with Jazz performances and screening offilms on German culture and tourism.
There willbe 32 booths of German organisations and companies in Vietnam, and activities mentioningenvironmental protection, economic cooperation between Germany and Vietnam,German language teaching in Vietnam, tertiary and vocational trainingprogrammes in Germany, and Germany-Vietnam collaboration in archeology and culturalconservation.
Ambassador Christian Berger stressed that the fest is a chance for Vietnamesepeople and tourists to understand more about Germany and show their attentionto the European country with long history.
Notably, on the evening of November 3, people in the capital city will enjoyperformances by Isolation Berlin, a famous Pop-Rock band in Germany, andVietnamese artists.-VNA
