Dong Nai (VNA) 𝐆– A traditional ceramics festival opened in the southern province of Dong Nai on April 27, aiming to honour the traditional pottery-making craft, connect heritage with modernity, and promote the cultural identity of Bien Hoa – Dong Nai to both domestic and international vistors.
Taking place from April 27 to 30, the festival features a wide range of activities, including exhibitions of ceramic products, a seminar on preserving and developing traditional pottery in the integration era, hands-on experiences at the Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts, a logo and brand identity design competition for the Bien Hoa - Dong Nai Traditional Pottery Festival, and booths showcasing One Commune-One Product (OCOP) and key rural industrial products.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Duong Minh Dung highlighted that Bien Hoa ceramics, with a history of over 300 years, remain a proud symbol of local culture.

The event will feature an exhibition of high-value artistic pottery products from Dong Nai province and other notable ceramic-making regions across the country, including Thanh Ha (Quang Nam), Red Pottery (Vinh Long), Bau Truc (Binh Thuan), and Binh Duong ceramics.
Since 2021, Dong Nai has built or repaired nearly 1,100 homes under the campaign, helping to improve living conditions for disadvantaged residents across the province.
In response to the Prime Minister’s nationwide programme to eliminate temporary houses, the province aims to build or repair 265 homes for revolution contributors, martyrs’ relatives, and disadvantaged households by the end of April.
