Bangkok (NNT/VNA) - The embassies of 12 African countries in Thailand are set to host the Colors of Africa Exhibition 2024, which will take place from September 9 to 11 at Central World in Bangkok.

The event, organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and private sector partners, aims to present diverse perspectives on Africa and promote investment and trade opportunities between Thailand and African nations.

The exhibition will showcase African culture through cuisine, fashion, and traditional dances while also highlighting the continent's economic potential. Participating embassies from countries including Kenya, South Africa, and Egypt will be joined by hospitality and airline businesses, among others. Activities for Thai students, such as trivia competitions, speech contests, and a drawing competition themed “Africa in My Imagination,” will also be part of the event.

♏ The Colors of Africa 2024 exhibition will also explore Africa's growing market potential, particularly in sectors such as agriculture and coffee production. With the African Continental Free Trade Area (CFTA) offering expanded opportunities for trade and investment, the event seeks to encourage Thai businesses to explore partnerships in Africa./.
