Hanoi (VNA) - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to host a series of events, exhibitions, and a media award on human rights in Vietnam, under the theme “Happy Vietnam 2025."

Accordingly, the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information under the ministry will coordinate with relevant agencies to stage the lineup. Notably, the media award is open to both Vietnamese and foreign nationals aged 15 and above, featuring two categories - photography and video.

Entries should promote the image of Vietnam - its people, culture, and natural landscape, while inspiring national pride and aspiration for development among people from all walks of life, encouraging them to join hands in building a prosperous and happy Vietnam.

They should also authentically and vividly reflect the country's development achievements in various fields, especially in renewal, development, and international integration; and convey valuable knowledge and information, with strong influence both at home and abroad.

The selection process will be conducted in two rounds, through both online and in-person formats, in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Outstanding works will be displayed in the northern port city of Hai Phong in the second quarter to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21). A similar exhibition is scheduled for the third quarter in Ho Chi Minh City to mark the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2). An award ceremony, also slated for the fourth quarter in Hanoi, will offer an opportunity to recognise and honour the contributions of people across the country and overseas Vietnamese to national construction and development.

ಌ Award-winning entries and other standout works will be showcased in the capital during the fourth quarter./.
