Hanoi (VNA) – The fifth meeting of the 14th National Assembly will conclude in Hanoi on June 15 after 21 days of working.

Prior to the closing ceremony, legislators will voteto pass the draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of laws relatingto the Planning Law.

The lawmakers will then ratify several drafts, includingthe resolution on outcomes of thematic inspections of the implementation ofpolicies and laws on the management and use of State capital and assets atbusinesses, and the equitisation of State-owned enterprises during 2011-2016, andthe resolution on establishing the thematic inspection group of the NA in 2019.

The draft resolution on establishing a thematicinspection group of the implementation of policies and laws on planning,managing and using land in urban areas from the effect of the 2013 Land Law tothe end of 2018, and the draft resolution on establishing a thematic group ofthe implementation of policies and laws on firefighting for 2014-2018, are alsoexpected to be approved on the day. 

The delegates will pass the draft resolution onquestion and answer sessions of the the fifth meeting of the 14th NA, and the draft resolution on the fifth meeting.

The closing session will be broadcast live byVietnam Television, Radio the Voice of Vietnam and the Vietnam NationalAssembly channel.
