Hanoi (VNA) – Most of Filipinos expressed their satisfaction over PresidentRodrigo Duterte’s performance and💜 his policies, accordღing to a survey of thePulse Asia Research Inc. released on January8.

Thesurvey showed that Duterte’s overall approval at 80 percent. In addition, up to82 percent of the respondents said they maintain trust in the former Mayor ofDavao city of Mindanao. BothVice President Maria Leonor Robredo and Senate President Aquilino Pimentelreceived an approval rating of nearly 60 percent. Thesurvey was conducted in December 2017 across the Philippines with 1,200respondents of 18 years old and above. Laudingthe results of the survey, spokesperson of the Philippine President Hary Roquecalled on Filipinos to stay united and support government policies, aiming toalleviate poverty and tackle criminals, especially drug dealers, andcorruption. Dutertetook office in June 2016 and his tenure runs until 2022. Since then, he hasordered various operations against drug criminals.-VNA
