Flood resistant houses handed over to residents in central province
Seventy-five flood resistant houses were handed over to residents in Vinh Linh district, the central province of Quang Tri, under a project funded by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement (ICRC).

Construction of the houses lasted from May to November2021 in Vinh Khe, Vinh Ha and Vinh O communes, Vinh Linh district.
The project targets households whose houses weredamaged by floods last year, with priority given to poor and near-poor households,and other social policy beneficiaries.
Each of the house was built at a cost of 75 millionVND (3,300 USD) that came from the ICRC, the Vietnam Red Cross Society, localauthorities and people./.
Poor households in the Mekong Delta provinces of Ca Mau and Ben Tre will be provided with disaster-resilient houses funded by Tan Dai Hung Plastic JSC.
The central coastal province of Quang Nam has handed over five flood-resistant houses to families in Binh Dao commune, Thang Binh district, on May 31, which was seriously affected by typhoon Damrey in November 2017.
