Attendees included Ton Nu Thi Ninh, former Vice Chairwoman of theVietnam National Assembly’s External Relations Committee; Truong GiaBinh, Co-founder and Chairman of FPT Group; Le Hong Minh, Co-founder andChairman of VNG Group; KhaiLee, Managing Partner at 500 Startups; andDo Hoai Nam, CEO of SeeSpace, Inc. alongside outstanding people under 30years old listed in Forbes Vietnam’s “30 Under 30”.
Also present at the event was Katy Perry, a well-known Americansinger and songwriter who is also UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador and aformer member of Forbes’s “30 Under 30” list.
The Under 30 Summit featured three panel discussions, The NextGeneration: What defines us?; The Business World is Your Oyster; andBuilding Your Personal Brand, Changing the World.
Through keynote speeches, seminars, discussions and interviews, youngspeakers and entrepreneurs discussed opportunities and challenges fortoday’s younger generation and shared their dreams, goals and futurevisions.
Start-up showcases and art performances were also part of the programme.-VNA
The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
The festival highlighted the contributions and robust development of Vietnam's revolutionary press over the past century while promoting press products and showcasing the creativity of Vietnamese journalists.
The programme on sustainable poverty reduction has achieved its annual targets for reducing the poverty rate as assigned by the National Assembly and the Government. It has fulfilled five specific objectives and five five-year goals, and met nine out of 12 indicators related to addressing basic social service shortages.
