Hanoi (VNA) 💯- Leaders from countries around the world have cabled congratulations to the Vietnamese Party, State, Government and National Assembly leaders on the occasion of the 71st National Day (September 2).

They included King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia, Sultan Haji Hassaal Bolkia of Brunei, Japanese Emperor Akihito, President of Myanmar Htin Kyaw, Singaporean President Tony Tan Keng Yam, Indian President Pranab Muherjee, President of the Republic of Korea Park Geun Hye, and German President Joachim Gauck. Myanmar’s State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long, Prime Minister of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Pak Pong Ju and Ukraine’s Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman also sent their congratulations to the Vietnamese leaders on the occasion. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also received congratulatory messages from his counterparts from Indonesia, Myanmar, Singapore, the DPRK and Ukraine.-VNA
