Former member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nguyen Duc Binh, who is also former Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council and former Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, has passed away at the age of 92.

The Board of Health Care Services for Senior Officials saiddespite receiving intensive care by the Party, State, professors, doctors andhis family, Binh passed away at 0:44am on January 31, 2019 at the Central MilitaryHospital 108 due to old age and serious illness.
