German Communist Party supports flood-hit victims in Vietnam

Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Minh Vu has received assistance from the German Communist Party (DKP) to support flood-hit people in the central region of Vietnam.
Berlin (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to GermanyNguyen Minh Vu has received assistance from the German Communist Party (DKP) tosupport flood-hit people in the central region of Vietnam.

DKP President Patrik Kobele handed over 12,150 EUR (14,489 USD)to Ambassador Vu at their meeting on November 25. The money was donated bymembers of the DKP and readers of the party’s newspaper.

Ambassador Vu thanked the party for the aid as well as thewarm sentiments and support that the DKP and German friends have given toVietnam.

The traditional friendship and long-lasting relationsbetween the DKP and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) as well as between thepeople in the two countries will help foster the intensive partnership betweenVietnam and Germany, he stated.

The diplomat pledged to send the money to the VietnamFatherland Front Central Committee so that it will reach the needy soon.

At the meeting, the two sides also discussed a number ofissues such as the preparations for the 13th National Congress ofthe CPV, Vietnam’s external relations, and the cooperation and delegationexchange plan between the two Parties in the future./.
