Gold for Vietnam at Asian Karatedo Championships

Vietnam won a gold medal at the Asian Karatedo Championships which ended in Yokohama in Japan on September 6.

Vietnam won a gold medal at the Asian Karatedo Championships which ended in Yokohama in Japan on September 6. Nguyen Hoang Ngan, Do Thi Thu Ha and Nguyen Thi Hang took the lead in the women's team.
Earlier, Tran Thi Khanh Vy won a bronze medal after defeating Chinese Taipei's Tsui-Ping Ku 5-0 in the third-place playoff of the women's 50kg combat category. With one gold and one bronze, Vietnam ranked sixth in the medal tally. The hosts, Japan, topped the rankings with nine golds, one silver and six bronzes.
Kazakhstan came second with three golds, two silvers and one bronze. Iran finished third with two golds, four silvers and five bronzes.-VNA

Vietnam take silver in AFF U19 Final
