Hanoi (VNA) - The Government Inspectorate of Vietnam treasures its sustainable cooperative relationship with the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) of Egypt, Deputy Inspector General Duong Quoc Huy told ACA Deputy Chairman Tamer El Fargany at their meeting on October 7 in Hanoi.

Huy stressed that the Vietnamese agency attaches importance to promoting international cooperation in fighting corruption to enhance the effectiveness of State governance and build a healthy socioeconomic environment.

The ACA delegation’s visit is a valuable opportunity for the two sides to exchange and share experiences in dealing with challenges related to anti-corruption efforts, he said.

For his part, Fargany praised the effective cooperation between Vietnam and Egypt in general, as well as the collaboration between the agencies in particular, stressing that the Egyptian people always admire Vietnam for its achievements in national construction and protection.

He said he hopes the trip will be a valuable opportunity for the delegation to learn from Vietnam’s practical experiences in combating corruption and in national construction and development, thus contributing to promoting friendship and effective cooperation between the two sides in the time to come.

🗹 During the meeting, the Egyptian side shared practical experiences in anti-corruption activities in terms of investment, aviation, and infrastructure, and shared valuable lessons in recovering corrupt assets and anti-money laundering.
