Hai Duong’s locals learn more about Hoang Sa, Truong Sa
People in northern Hai Duong province will get deeper understanding of the country’s sovereignty over Truong Sa (Spratly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelagoes.
Hai Duong (VNA) – People in northern Hai Duong province will get deeper understanding of thecountry’s sovereignty over Truong Sa (Spratly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel)archipelagoes when visiting an exhibition featuring legal and historicalevidence for the islands opened in the locality on April 14.
Co-organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information and the HaiDuong provincial People’s Committee, the exhibition is taking place at the provinciallibrary.
The exhibits includecopies of documents written in Chinese, Nom (a Chinese-like script of Vietnam),Vietnamese and French issued by Vietnam’s feudal regime and the Frenchadministration the Indochina from the 17th to the early 20th centuries, togetherwith maps and atlas.
They confirmVietnam’s establishment and long-term and peaceful exercise of sovereignty overHoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.
The exhibition has an area featuring activities of the Party, State, army, andpeople responding to the protection of the country’s seas and islands.
The organizing board has developed a 3D digitalized exhibition on the theme, especiallya system of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa islands.
