Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi - the UNESCO’s City of Peace - is makingmeticulous preparations for the upcoming summit between the Democratic People’sRepublic of Korea (DPRK) and the US, aiming to affirm Vietnam and Hanoi’sposition and prestige in the international arena.
The municipal People’s Committee has called on local people to join hands topopularise Hanoi’s image as a friendly and hospitable destination by complyingwith transport regulations as well as protecting the environment and publiclandscapes. Hanoians are also urged to remove encroachments on pavements.
