The two-day event was co-organised by the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Academy of Politics Region I, the OECD Korea Policy Centre and the Korean Institute of Public Administration (KIPA).
Participants discussed issues related to public administration, opportunities for renovating public administration in OECD areas and in Asia in general, future challenges for the field and public-private cooperation in the context of public area reform.
Initiatives shared at the forum are expected to promote development cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) with the latter bringing experience to Vietnam in implementing plans and measures to reform public administration.
Through six working sessions, attendees will debate efforts to enhance reforms within OECD and in the Southeast Asian region while reviewing renewals made by the RoK government in the field.
Aspects of Vietnam’s recent administration reform process, including reform of public administrative procedures; intensification of policy and law making for sustainable development; and application of e-government in the public area, were also on the table.
The workshop underlined t🥀he necessity of𓆏 paying attention to managing and developing the labour force, noting that it is a basic condition to build capacity serving reforms.-VNA
The satisfaction index of public administration services reflecting the levels of individual and organisational satisfaction with some public administrative services will be released this October, said a conference in Hanoi.
