HCM City (VNA) – A delegation of Ho Chi Minh City’s leaders andformer officials offered incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh at the HoChi Minh museum in the city on February 12 ahead of the traditional Lunar NewYear (Tet) 2018.

Attending the event were Vice Secretary of the municipal Party Committee TatThanh Cang, Chairman of the People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairwomanof the People’s Council Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam, President of the VietnamFatherland Front Committee To Thi Bich Chau and many former officials.

Showing their deep gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted his wholelife to the national liberation, the city’s leaders promised to continue theirefforts to build Ho Chi Minh City into a civilised and modern urban centre,making contributions to the national construction and development.

The same day, the delegation paid tribute to President Ton Duc Thang at the museumnamed after him.-VNA
