HCM City seeks procuracy ties with Bulgaria’s capital
Procuracy agencies of Ho Chi Minh City and Bulgaria’s capital city of Sofia should foster links, thus further strengthening cooperation between the two localities.
HCM City (VNA) – Procuracy agencies of Ho Chi Minh City and Bulgaria’s capital city of Sofia should foster links, thus further stre♊ngthening cooperation between the two localities, said Vice Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem.
Liem made the suggestion during his reception for the visiting Bulgarian Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov in HCM City on September 9.
He affirmed that Sotir Tsatsarov’s visit to Vietnam contributed to expanding the cooperation between the two nations.
For his part, Sotir Tsatsarov affirmed that the two countries’ procuracy sectors will enhance links and experience sharing in the field, towards stepping up judicial development in each nation.
He also congratulated HCM City on its recent achievements in socio-economic development.
Earlier the same day, Sotir Tsatsarov and his entourage had a working session with representatives from the People’s Procuracy of HCM City, during which they shared experience in implementing the prosecution right.
Last year, the Supreme Procuracies of Vietnam and Bulgaria signed a cooperation agreement to set up a legal foundation to foster their connection in the coming time.
Under the document, inked during the visit of Prosecutor General Nguyen Hoa Binh to Bulgaria from April 23-26, 2015, the two countries’ procuracy sectors will share information pertaining to crime prevention and support each other in personnel training and legal research.-VNA
The Supreme Procuracies of Vietnam and Bulgaria have signed a cooperation agreement to set up a legal foundation to foster their connection in the coming time.
President Tran Dai Quang appreciated the cooperation between the two supreme procuracy bodies of Vietnam and Bulgaria at a reception on September 7 for Bulgarian Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov.
At the conference, participants reported that the Government has so far issued 28 decrees on the delegation of responsibilities and powers between the central Government and two-tier local administrations. Several localities have already piloted the new governance model.
Reality is the ultimate benchmark for success, he said, urging drafting agencies to work out policies that foster development, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and respect practical conditions.
Under the official dispatch signed on June 20, ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, and chairpersons of provincial and municipal People’s Committees are requested to concentrate efforts on implementing core measures to ensure the smooth operations of the new administrative framework.
The Party chief underscored the need for the press to innovate relentlessly, evolve to keep pace with the country's development, transform into a truly professional, humanistic, and modern sector that serves the cause of the Party, the State, and the people on the path to national construction and development.
