HCM City to waive fees for five administrative procedures applied online
Ho Chi Minh City will not charge any fees for five administrative procedures done online from May 29 until the end of 2025, the municipal Department of Information and Communications has announced.

HCM City (VNA) - Ho Chi Minh City will not charge any fees for five administrative procedures done online from May 29 until the end of 2025, the municipal Department of Information and Communications has announced.
This policy, approved by the municipal People's Council at its 15th session on May 19, forms part of the southern metropolis’s 2024 digital transformation plan aimed at facilitating and encouraging citizens’ and businesses’ engagement in online transaction methods for administrative procedures.
It covers fees for household and business registration, and the issuance of work permits for foreigners, certificates of land use rights and the ownership of houses and assets attached to land, and construction permits.
Citizens and firms conducting related transactions through the municipal administrative procedure resolution portal at //dichvucong.hochiminhcity.gov.vn or the national public service portal at //dichvucong.gov.vn will be completely exempt from fees and charges.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chairman of the National Committee for Digital Transformation, has signed a decision to issue the committee’s work plan in 2024, aiming to speed up national digital transformation in an effective and practical manner, creating breakthroughs in the country's socio-economic development and contributing to completing all socio-economic targets for 2024 and the 2021-2025 period.
The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has organised a conference to review the city’s administrative reforms and digital transformation last year and set tasks for 2024.
