Hanoi (VNA/NNT)💜 - Holidaymakers are invited to visit Thale Ban National Park in Thailand’s Satun province to enjoy the picturesque freshwater lake and other natural beauties, which have remained protected from modern development.

According to the park’s Chief Jarun Khunnarong, the 125-rai lake located in the middle of the valley of Kuan district is believed to be created after the ground subsided. It has run off from natural water sources and then flooded the valley over a period of time. In addition to the greenery, hundreds of glandular frogs can also be seen here. These amphibians emit a cry similar to a dog barking, which can be heard both during the day and at night. They are among the many attractions that the national park has to offer. Thale Ban National Park, which sits on a 196-square-kilometer area, borders Malaysia, Songkhla province, and Tone Nga Chang Wildlife Sanctuary. Jarun said it is a perfect site for those who love eco-tourism.-VNA
