Host of activities for disadvantaged kids in HCM City during Mid-Autumn Festival
The Ho Chi Minh City Communist Youth Union will present more than 2,000 gifts worth over 500 million VND (21,600 USD) to disadvantaged local children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

HCM City (VNA) - The Ho Chi Minh CityCommunist Youth Union will present more than 2,000 gifts worth over 500 millionVND (21,600 USD) to disadvantaged local children on the occasion of the Mid-AutumnFestival.
It’s one of various activities to berolled out by the city’s youth union in support of underprivileged children,especially children of local workers, until October 4.
In cooperation with Vietnam Fatherland Frontcommittees in districts, the youth union has also organised art programmes,folk games, and film screenings, and presented scholarships to children withoutstanding academic results.
Targeted children include those with disabilities and thethousands of children of workers at processing, industrial, and high-tech parksin the city./.
The Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre will organise a Mid-Autumn Festival from September 17 to October 4 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
A host of activities are being prepared around HCM City as the Mid-Autumn Festival fast approaches. Among them is Luong Nhu Hoc lantern street in the city’s District 5.
The Lang Mo border guards have recently hosted a Mid-Autumn festival for local children at Ban Sat village, Truong Son commune, Qunag Ninh district of the central province of Quang Binh.
