Theceremony was chaired by Indonesian Navy Chief of Staff, Admiral Ade Supandi andparticipated in by Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and many officials of theIndonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). YudoMargono, born in 1965, was a student of the Indonesia Naval Academy. Since2004, he has been appointed to varioussignificant positions in different units of the TNI and the navy. Indonesia’sWestern Fleet Command is tasked with overseeing Pinang and Natuna regions. Itis among the most important defence lines of Indonesia, including the country’sislands outpost. It also works with other marine executive forces for theefficient management and exploitation of ocean resources.-VNA
