Jakarta (VNA) ไ– The International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 opened in Indonesia on September 5, bringing together senior officials, international organisations, environmental experts, and over 100 businesses participating in workshops, exhibitions, and product showcases.
In his opening remarks, Indonesian President Joko Widodo emphasised the global challenges of balancing economic growth with environmental protection to ensure a strong foundation for future generations.
He stressed the need for nations to accelerate decarbonisation efforts by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and transitioning to sustainable energy sources to achieve net-zero emissions.
