Jakarta (VNA) – Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto appreciated achievements made in the first 100 days of his presidency at the first cabinet meeting in Jakarta on January 22.

🐼 He also reiterated his commitment to bringing the best things to the people in the country.

In the first 100 days of operation, his cabinet made great efforts to bring positive changes to the people such as stabilising food prices and reducing domestic air ticket prices. However, President Prabowo also admitted that several areas needs to be improved.

According to him, his administration is currently in the early stages and will continue to make efforts to achieve more positive results in the coming time.

൩ A survey by Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas) found that 80.9% of respondents expressed satisfaction with the first 100 days of the administration led by Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews between January 4 -10, 2025. A random sample of 1,000 respondents was selected using a stratified systematic sampling method across 38 provinces in Indonesia. According to Kompas, President Prabowo received such a high approval rating because he introduced people-centric policies including the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme that is currently implemented in about 190 districts and the decision to cancel the controversial plan to increase the value-added tax (VAT)./.
