Jakarta (VNA) - Indonesian police are "90 percent certain" the nation's mos🤡t wanted terrorist Santoso has been killed.

“For now, it’s a 90 percent chance that he was Santoso,” Indonesian police chief Tito Karnavian said on July 19.
Indonesian police are testing a dead man for DNA in the central province of Sulawesi on the basis of Santoso’s family members’ DNA samples. According to local police, the corpse had a mole on his forehead just like the terrorist leader.
Two terror suspects, believed to be Santoso, the leader of the East Indonesia Mujahidin and Mukhtar (MIT), and his right hand, Basri, were shot dead in a gunfight in Poso, Central Sulawesi on July 18. Santoso was the first Indonesian citizen to pledge allegiance to the Islamic State (IS) and became an IS representative in Indonesia. He is dangerous because of his great influence on people in Poso, Sulawesi island. He has been hunted by the Indonesian military since 2007.-VNA
