Jakarta (VNA)✱ – The 25th Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT 2025) – one of the largest arts and crafts exhibitions in Indonesia and Southeast Asia – opened at the Jakarta International Convention Centre on February 5.
The fair, running until February 9, showcases handicrafts, arts and crafts by artisans from various regions in Indonesia including fashion goods, rattan and bamboo items, leather goods, handicraft products, home decorations, and especially hundreds of typical Indonesian Batik products.
♌ It aims to support Indonesia's creative industry, spur economic growth and introduce the country's arts and culture to the world.
INACRAFT 2025 has 1,061 booths, including 729 private booths, nearly 200 booths of ministries and departments, 25 others of state-owned enterprises and 19 international ones.
The fair is expected to attract 100,000 visitors, including 1,000 buyers from abroad, targeting a retail transaction revenue of 100 billion INR (6.25 million USD) and commercial contracts worth 1.5 million USD./.
