The three-storey school which issituated in the precinct of Ghositaram pagoda, includes six classroomsalongside rooms for special purposes.
Every year, theschool will teach the Khmer language to about 250 ethic students andorganise illiteracy elimination classes for thousands of people in theregion.
According to Most Venerable Huu Hinh, Ghositarampagoda, which was built in 1860 and was a cradle of Buddhism studycampaign among monks nuns, has so far trained more than 3,500 learners.

The programmes have brought about positive changes to rural infrastructure, comprehensively improved the material and spiritual lives of farmers, and contributed to Vietnam's economic restructuring, said PM Pham Minh Chinh.
