Sung A Sinh, born in1992 and residing in Hoi Cha village, Nam Vi commune, Muong Nhe district ofDien Bien province; Thao A Nha, born in 1955, and Vang A Hau, born in 1988, werecaught red handed on Highway 4D in Coc San commune, Bat Sat district, Lao Cai province,on June 13. Both Nha and Hau reside in Nam Nhu commune, Na Po district, DienBien.
At the police station,the three confessed that they were hired to transport the drug amount from DienBien to Lao Cai for 208 million VND (about 9,150 USD).
Colonel Dinh TienQuan, Director of the Lao Cai Police, said that the police countered manydifficulties in the arrest as the drug traffickers change their means of transportationfrequently.
The police weredivided into three teams to watch movements of the three from Dien Bien to LaoCai.
Currently, the Lao Caipolice are expanding investigation on the case.-VNA
