Vientiane (VNA) - The Nguyen Du Lao-Vietnamese bilingualschool launched its 2020-2021 school year at a ceremony in the Lao capital of Vientianeon September 11.
Acting Rector of the school Sivanheuang Phengkhammay said it has 39classrooms from the kindergarten to high school level, with 75 teachers educating1,056 students.
Envoy of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos, Trinh Thi Tam, congratulated theschool’s staff on fulfilling their tasks and contributing to creating a prestigiousfacility.
She asked the school to continue improving teaching and study qualityand pay due regard to infrastructure as well as food safety and hygiene amidCOVID-19.
She also presented certificatesof merit and gifts to students winning academic excellence awards at themunicipal level./.
