Laos, Cambodia congratulate Vietnam Party on 86th founding anniversary

Hanoi (VNA) – The Lao and the Cambodian Party Central Committees have cabled messages of congratulations to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) over its 86 th founding anniversary (February 3).
In its congratulatory message, the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party congratulated Vietnam on its great achievements over the past 86 years, considering them a source of inspiration to Laos national development.
The Party, State and people of Laos expressed their deep and sincere gratitude to their Vietnamese counterparts for providing valuable and effective support for the Lao revolutionary cause in the past.
It added that the Lao Party, State and people will do their utmost to foster bilateral ties with Vietnam for the benefit of the two countries as well as for peace, friendship and cooperation in the region and the world.
The Cambodian People’s Party (CPP), meanwhile, highly valued the traditional friendship and fine cooperation between the two countries in recent years.
The CPP and Cambodian people forever bear in mind the support that the CPV, army and people of Vietnam offered to Cambodia during its national liberation, as well as the current support being given to Cambodia’s national construction and development.
The CPP also took the occasion to express their determination to continue the traditional solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation enjoyed with Vietnam, for the sake of the two nations and peoples.-VNA
