Laos congratulated on National Day

The message was sent to Choummaly Sayasone, General Secretary of theLao People’s Revolutionary Party and President; Thongsing Thammavong,Prime Minister; and Pany Yathotou, Chairwoman of the National Assembly.

In the message, the Vietnamese leadersexpressed their delight at major successes that the fraternal Lao peoplehave gained in their national construction and defence under the soundleadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

The leaders wrote that they are proud of the great friendship,special, faithful and pure solidarity, and comprehensive cooperationbetween the two Parties, States and people, which were founded andnurtured by Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Kaysone Phomvihane along withgenerations of leaders of both nations, and have become an invaluableasset for their later generations.

The same day,Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Vietnam – Laos CooperationSub-committee Nguyen Xuan Phuc cabled congratulations to Deputy PrimeMinister cum Head of the Laos-Vietnam Cooperation Sub-committee SomsavatLengsavad.
