Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and Brunei's Sultan HassanalBolkiah held a bilateral meeting in Putrajaya, Malaysia’s administrationcentre, on March 5.

The meeting took placeon the sidelines of the 22nd Malaysia-Negara Brunei Darussalam Annual LeadersConsultation - the highest platform for discussion between the two countries,according to a joint statement issued after the event.

During the event, bothhost and guest reaffirmed mutual defence ties between the two countries.

They also vowed tomaintain regular exchanges of visits, meetings, training couses and militarydrills.-VNA
