Malaysia ranks 10th globally with highest fully COVID-19 vaccinated rate
Malaysia is ranked 10th among countries with the highest percentage of population fully vaccinated against COVID-19 globally, according the New York Times' CodeBlue vaccination tracker.

Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – Malaysia is ranked 10th among countries with the highest percentage of population fully vaccinatedagainst COVID-19 globally, according the New York Times' CodeBlue vaccinationtracker.
Reports on health policy and management issues worldwide conducted by CodeBlueshow that 77 percent of Malaysia’s total population had fullyinoculated, and about 80 percent of its total population had been vaccinatedwith at least one dose as of November 8.
A total of 492,054 booster doses have been administered nationwide to date.
Malaysia also ranks 33rd of only 44 countriesthat have inoculated booster COVID-19 vaccine doses, with 1.5 percent ofMalaysia’s population receiving boosters or extra shots.
Nine countries with the highest percentage offull COVID-19 vaccination are the UnitedArab Emirates (UAE) (89 percent), Portugal (87percent), Malta (85 percent), Singapore (82 percent), Chile (81 percent),Cambodia (80 percent), Spain (79 percent), Qatar (78 percent), and Iceland (77percent).
