Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said the governmentwill also revoke foreign worker recruitment licences of those agencieswhich are found to have breached regulations stipulated by authorities.

The minister said both decisions have been approved by the Malaysian cabinet.

Relevant agencies will consider the recruitment of foreign workers forareas which require this particular human resource, he said, addingthat the freeze on the intake of guest workers from Bangladesh remainsin place.

Malaysia currently has 277 foreign worker recruitment companies andunder the new decision, no more new agencies will be licensed./.
