Kuala Lumpur (VNA) –
Malaysian PrimeMinister Muhyiddin Yassin has said budget 2021 will provide allocations to curb the spread ofCOVID-19 as the government steps up its battle against the pandemic.

He said the Malaysian government would spell out additionalmeasures in the Budget, which will be tabled on November 6, as part of effortsto bring the life of the people back to normalcy.

According to the PM, the government has allocated 2 billion RM (480 million USD) for the Health Ministry while in Sabah state alone, whichhas been badly hit by COVID-19, about 400 million RM has spent in the past fewweeks involving the delivery of food aid to houses and medical supplies./.
