🌟 - Network provider MobiFone is planning to pilot 4G services in April, according to local media.

The network provider plans to test the service in the three major cities of Hanoi, Da Nang and HCM City.
The vneconomy.vn quoted a representative of MobiFone as saying that given the heavy mobile phone use in these three cities, building the technical infrastructure would be more complicated. Before MobiFone, Viettel had implemented 4G services in December last year in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, with an average speed between 40 and 80 Mb/s, though it could reach 230 Mb/s in some spots.
Meanwhile, Vinaphone piloted the technology on Phu Quoc Island and in HCM City in January this year. Vinaphone also installed 50 base transceiver stations (BTSs) on Phu Quoc Island and 100 BTSs in HCM City.-VNA
